Santos Joseph Cruz "Nach"

Beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend joined his father Hyman in Heaven on April 5, 2021 at the age of 31 years.
Our beloved son, Santos was born on October 7, 1989 to Betty (Adrian) Gonzalez, Frank Medel, Jr. and the late Hyman Cruz. He attended Arthur Hill High School. Nach loved his job for Hull Supply Company. He was a guy who quickly made friends with anyone he met, and would make an impact on their lives. Family and friendship were his top priority, and it showed to everyone who met Nach. A proud momma’s boy and jokester, he gave everyone he met a nickname that was sure to make them smile. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving are his mother and step-father: Betty and Adrian Gonzalez, step-father Frank Medel, Jr., fiancé, Monica Medel, his son Alexzavier Joseph Cruz, his sister Celia Cruz, special nephew Sean Cruz, the mother of his son, Brittany Thomas and her son (whom Nach treated as his own) Curtis “King” Jones, Nachie Boi Buddies: Blue, Bray and Sissy, his special uncles: Michael Cruz, Joe Felix Pacheco, godfather, Dennis Medel, his grandparents: Gloria “Grandma Blackbird” Morales, Santos and Gloria “Grandma Big Store” Cruz, Frank and Juanita Medel, John “Haytahman” and Kathy Perez, his mother-in-law Rita Medel, his very special aunts and uncles of the Pacheco, Cruz, Medel, and Perez families. Nach was like a sibling to his Pacheco and Cruz cousins. He also loved his extended cousins of the Amador, Rosas, Delgado, Teneyuque/Garth, and Contreras families. Nach is survived by Troy Cruz and Markus Rodriquez who are the godfather to his son, Alexzavier; numerous close childhood friends: Gerald “JJ” Williams, Chuck Medel, Rudy Rocha, Simon Hernandez, Calvin Earl McReynolds, Jr., Chris Kramer, and many special coworkers from Hull Supply Company and many other special high school friends that came along the way, and his faithful dog, Teddi “Baby Brother”. Nach was predeceased by his father, Hyman Joseph Cruz, his uncle Troy Cruz along with his grandfather Stan Morales.
