Sandra Jean Villarreal (Baker)

Sandra Jean Villarreal (Baker) Passed away suddenly at her home in the evening on January 23, 2023. She was 71 years old, just shy of turning 72.

Sandra was born on March 3, 1951 in Saginaw to the late Jack and Henrietta (Poineau) Baker. She worked everyday of her life, supporting her seven children and husband. 

Sandra enjoyed playing bingo, watching soap operas, gardening, and spending time with her family. Hardly ever taking time for herself, Sandra was selfless and always put others first.

She was the rock to all who loved and knew her. She will be truly missed and always remembered fondly by her brothers, children, husband, and extended family.

She is survived by her husband Ignacio E. Villarreal, her seven children; Ignacio E. Villarreal Jr., Kathy L. (Darrell) Johnson, Thomas J. (Kim) Villarreal, Mark A. Villarreal, Matthew J. Villarreal, Rosemarie S. (Trevor) Daly, and Elicia J. (Shaheen) Houshiar, two brothers; Harold (Alyssa) Baker, Joseph L. (Beth) Baker, three sisters-in-law, Debbie Jackson, Marsha Warrington, and Carol Jackson, and her many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She has reunited with her four brothers; John R. Jackson, Steven R. Warrington, Jack T. Baker, Clarence "Cary" D. Jackson, and her stepmother whom she loved very much, Evelyn Baker.

In accordance with Sandra's wishes, cremation is to take place. A time of sharing is planned for 6:00pm on Monday, January 30th, 2023, at W.L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., Saginaw. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Monday from 2:00 p.m. (two o'clock) until the time of sharing. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a charity of the donor's choice.
