Ruth V. Lukowski of Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at HealthSource of Saginaw. She was 98 years old. Ruth V. Green was born on March 18, 1922, in Goodrich, Michigan to the late Glenn and Agnes (Hamlind) Green. She married Louis E. Lukowski on June 7, 1947; he preceded her in death on September 26, 1979. Ruth worked as a secretary with the Carpenters Union for over 50 years before her retirement. She was a longtime member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. Ruth enjoyed bowling with her husband and volunteered as treasurer of the league for many years. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and the Bowling Hall of Fame. Ruth will forever be remembered for her intelligence, wisdom, and her maintaining her memory until the very end.

Surviving is a brother, James (Diane) Green of Oakley. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Lukowski.

Rite of Committal will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at St. Andrew Cemetery. Rev. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Dominic Parish.
