Roy Lee Whitson III.

     Passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Age 19 years.

     The son of Teri McMahon and Roy Lee Whitson Jr. was born May 17, 2004, in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School, Class of 2023 and was attending Truck Driving School.  He attended St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.  He enjoyed basketball and Rap music.

     Surviving besides his parents are his brother and sisters, Katelyn (James Sherley) McMahon, Sierra Whitson, Antonio Saenz, Aroyah Whitson; his aunts and uncles, Erica Taylor, Lakeeshia Taylor-Currin, Larry Taylor, Jason McMahon and Matthew McMahon; his niece, Brooklynn Sherley; his grandmothers, Earlene Whitson and Rose Braley; Step-mothers, Erin Marciniak; step-brothers, Diego Hawkins, Jordan Williams and Clarence Williams Jr; A special cousin, Mario (Dwandra) Williams; special friends, Alicia Gonzalez, Chanse Hummel, Fred Davis, Emilio Landin, C.J. Foster, Jalen Davis, Grant Hummel, Omar (Sarah)Barnes and Joseph Tillman. Many other great relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Savannah R. Whitson and his grandfathers, Roy Whitson Sr. and Lester McMahon.

     The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2023, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with family from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the funeral service.
