Roy Henry Greif

Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, Saturday, January 22, 2022. Age 88 years.
Roy was born March 14, 1933, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Jacob and Viola (Beck) Greif. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He married Peggy Fox, September 8,1956. She passed away February 25, 2013. Roy retired from General Motors with 30 years of service in 1988. He enjoyed music and watching movies.
Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Greg and Nancy Greif, Saginaw, MI; Glen and Carolyn Greif, Standish, MI; Tammy and Dennis Bootz, AuGres, MI; Thomas and Sharon Greif, Gladwin, MI six grandchildren, Lisa and Jennifer, Nicholas and Holly, Matthew and Zachary and two great grandchildren, Sage and Evelyn, a brother, Raymond Greif; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and Robert Greif.
The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Rick Pockrandt will officiate with Military Honors under the auspices of American Legion Post 439. Friends may visit with family from Noon Saturday until the time of the funeral service.
