Rose Mary Hines Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday January 16, 2020 at her home at the age of 93 years. Rose Mary was born October 1, 1926 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Emro and Josephine (Toma) Salak. She married Howard Hines August 30, 1947, celebrating 57 years of marriage before his passing October 6, 2004. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Saginaw. Surviving are her children; Howard (Mari) Hines, Donna Cheshire; six grandchildren, Christopher (Faith) Cheshire, Brian Cheshire, Michele (Jon) Bowns, Jamie (Jon) McLeod, Jodie (Justin) Bow, Keri (Israel) Guerrero; 9 great-grandchildren; Taylor Rose Bonkowski, Kayleanna Hines, Madeline Bowns, Haylie Hines, Kelsey Bowns, Jaden Bow, Israel Guerrero, Hudson Cheshire, Bryson Cheshire; a sister, Anne Machul, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two great grandchildren, Robert and Caden Cheshire, three sisters and two brothers, Josephine (Frank) Hunt, Mary Salak, Margaret Soddt, Steve (Marilyn) Salak, Emro Salak. The funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Amy Terhune will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
