Rose Marie Garcia

Garcia, Rose Marie Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, age 62 years. The daughter of Ray G. Garcia and the late Maria Delaluz (Medina) Garcia was born on July 5, 1950 in Wyandotte, MI. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School, the class of 1969. She worked at Saginaw General Hospital. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She married Ronald Darensbourg; he predeceased her. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, movies, knitting, and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Rosie was very loving and had a great sense of humor. She had nick names for many of her family members. Surviving besides her father, Ray are her children; Lorraine Garcia, Jennifer Darensbourg, Cleopatra Miller, Jerome Woodhouse, grandchildren; Christine Garcia, Elijah Toney, Samaria Finks, Tyra Radney, her siblings; Virginia (Gary) May, Ruben (Gloria) Garcia, Christine Garcia, Robert Garcia, Alicia (Rob) Okeley, her mother-in-law Maxine Darensbourg and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Maria in 2005. Funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan with burial to follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. where a vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may then visit on Tuesday at church, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
