Rose (Duranso/Tourangeau) Chaltraw Bridgeport, Michigan Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother went home to the Lord on November 20, 2017, at the age of 88 years. Rose was born April 28, 1929, in Saginaw to the late Joseph and Nellie (Lefczyk) Duranso. She married James Chaltraw on October 10, 1953; he predeceased her October 25, 2003. He came to take her to their heavenly home, as his special gift, on what would have been his birthday. She enjoyed BINGO, going to the CASINO, cooking, and spending time with her cherished family. Rose will be missed by her children, Dianne (Richard) Bauer, Lorraine Tourangeau, Barb (David) Rousseau, Steven Chaltraw, Jeanne (Louis) Aguilar, Julie (Brian) Good, Denise Chaltraw Bierman; 15 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Long; and a niece that was like her own daughter, LuAnn Roberts. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Maria Aguilar; great-grandson, Brendon Kozan and Antonio Aguilar; and her siblings, John, Harry, Robert, and Josie. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Francis Home for the wonderful care they provided to Rose. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at St. Francis de Sales Parish St. Christopher Catholic Church. Fr. John Mancini will officiate with entombment to follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Highway on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the family will gather at 7:00 p.m. for a prayer service. Friends may also visit with the family at church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Francis de Sales.
