Rosalinda Ovalle of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, August 15, 2025. She was 71 years old. Rosalinda Ovalle was born on February 16, 1954, in Muleshoe, Texas, to the late Vicente and Aurora (Ramirez) Ovalle. She attended both catholic and Saginaw Public Schools. Rosalinda worked in production with Ball Mason Jar Company for many years, as well as a bus driver for the City of Saginaw Transportation Division. Hard working her entire life, the role she loved, treasured, and cherished the most was to be the most amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother ever. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in this life and selflessly provided anything they needed. Rosalinda was an excellent cook and over the years enjoyed making dinners, baking, and creating desserts for her family. She understood the secret ingredient to making all food taste good was to “make it with love.” Rosalinda also loved sewing and crocheting where she lovingly created many blankies, clothing, and dresses. She also enjoyed decorating her home for the holidays. Rosalinda was a faithful and devoted member of the SVSU church, attending many services in their chapel. As a young lady she loved to write all different types of prose: poetry, stories, or letters. She was honored to have may of her works, often written in either English or Spanish, frequently published in The Saginaw News. Her children fondly recall her being the smartest person they had ever known. She will forever be remembered as a kind and joyful soul, for her selfless love for family and friends, for her beautiful singing and dancing where she went, and for truly living a wonderful life filled with many beautiful stories and memories.
Surviving are four children: David Juarez of Saginaw; Angelo (Connie) Juarez of Saginaw; Clarissa (Manuel) Rivera of Saginaw; Rudy Valentino “Tino” Lopez of Holland; 21 grandchildren: Laticia, David, Antonio, Ulises, Ciro, Kahlici, Marcello, Michael CJ, Erica, Ariana, Mar-Mar, Angelo Jr., Layla, Bella, Angelica, Daniella, KeKe, Mari, Justino, and Doonie; many great-grandchildren: three sisters and two brothers: Narse (George) Torrez, Mary Delgado, Blanca Cuellar, Santos Ovalle, Lorenzo (Dora) Ovalle; two sisters-in-law, Petra Ovalle and Rosemary Ovalle; a special cousin, Gracie Kuchar. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends too numerous to mention, but held closely to her heart.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ulises Juarez; a daughter, Veronica Blacksheer; two brothers: Eduardo and Ricardo Ovalle; and her parents: Vicente and Aurora Ovalle.
