Ronald "Ron" Joseph Warzecha

Loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away unexpectedly at his home in Birch Run on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023, at the age of 75. Ron was born on February 6th, 1948, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Joseph & Delores (Rogoszewski) Warzecha and was a 1966 graduate of Birch Run High School. It was while in school that he met Karen Malone and the couple would soon become inseparable, marrying on July 29th, 1967, and spending over 56 years together. She survives him. After graduating high school, Ron was drafted into the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. After his honorable discharge, Ron began work for General Motors at Plant 6 and retired some 39 years later as the warehouse coordinator. In his free time, Ron stayed active by traveling with Karen and his family, as well as camping and playing cards. He used to hold countless card games and tournaments, filling their house with friends and family who gathered around to enjoy their time with Ron and Karen, and he was also an active member of American Legion Post #229. Ron is remembered as being a great man with a loving heart who lived to take care of the people around him. He especially loved cooking for those close to him and helped take care of their needs.

Ron is survived by his wife of 56 years, Karen Warzecha; sons Richard Warzecha, Chad (Martine) Warzecha, and Trent (Sam) Warzecha; grandchildren Elizabeth Warzecha, Andrew Warzecha, Sam Warzecha, Drew Dorsch, Gabi Gloria, and Lili Gloria; and special sisters-in-law Marcia Cramer and Michele Pavlicek; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members, countless friends, and a large camping family that will greatly miss his presence.

Ron was preceded in death by sister Vicky Bosley.
