Coon, Ronald J. Saginaw, MI Our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and great papa passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2015, at the age of 78 years. Ron was born April 17, 1936, in Saginaw to the late James and Sadie (Smith) Coon. He served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and faithful spectator of his grandson's sporting events. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Joanne (Bell) Coon; his children Brad and Traci; grandchildren, Todd and Jessyca (Eric); and great-granddaughter Abigail. The family would like to thank his neighbors Rob and Julie for all the love and care they provided to Ron throughout the years. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Rd. Chaplain Ron Compton will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
