Robin Ann Burgess

Our beloved sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Parkview AFC Home with her family by her side. She was 58 years old. Robin Ann Burgess was born on March 9, 1961, to the late Jack Burgess and Shirley Jean (Gifford) Burgess. Robin was always attracted to both bright lights and colors leading her toward fascination with beads and spending time at the casino. She loved food, being near the water, and swimming. Robin also had amazing acrobat and balancing skills; she was able to overcome the many obstacles and adversities life had given her. Though bound by a wheelchair, Robin was the brightest light, an indomitable spirit and inspiration to all that knew and loved her. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her family at Parkview, the staff at Listening Ear in Mount Pleasant, and Ken Longton with MidMichigan Homecare and Hospice for all the unbelievable love and extraordinary care they provided to Robin. Surviving are two sisters and one brother, Cheryl (Keith) Marx of Saginaw; Tim (Eden) Burgess of Saginaw; and Jaclyn (David) Prange of Saginaw. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Danny Burgess; and a sister, Melanie Burgess. A Funeral Service will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Steve Rodriguez will officiate. Private burial will take place on Thursday at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the familys wishes.
