Robert V. Peters, Sr. Port Huron, Michigan Our loving father and grandfather passed away Friday, February 26, 2016, at the age of 84 years. Robert was born November 15, 1931, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Melvin and Mildred (Yarnell) Peters. He served in the U.S. Army from 1949 to 1952. He was a former Aerospace Engineer on the cutting edge of technology in Research and Development. He is survived by his children, Robert (Candace) Peters, Jr., Melvin (Sharon) Peters, Kenneth (Jeannie) Peters, Mark Peters; grandchildren, Kelly (David Dillon) Peters, Rachel Peters, and Robi (Matthew) Yeatman; and great-grandchildren, David, Cami, and Easton; his siblings, Barry (Beverly) Peters and Sandra (Donell) Hurt; niece and nephew, Dr. Brenda Peters and Branden Peters; and many great-nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by several siblings. Committal services will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 29, 2016, at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens under the auspices of VFW Post #1859 of Carrollton.
