Robert Lee Tappen, Jr. of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved father, son, and friend passed away at home with his mother by his side on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was 51 years old. Robert Lee Tappen, Jr. was born on February 12, 1974, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Robert Lee Sr. and Cherie (Bradd) Tappen. He was greatly loved and will forever be missed by everyone whose life he touched. Above all, Robert treasured and cherished his children.

Surviving are a daughter and son: Melaina Tappen of Ft. Wayne, IN; Robert Lee Tappen III of Ft. Wayne, IN; parents, Robert and Cherie Tappen, Sr. of Saginaw.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffery Tappen.

A funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., Saginaw, MI 48603. Pastor Pat Lagan will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
