Beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at My Michigan Medical Center Saginaw, with his family at his side. Age 75 years.

The son of the late Kenneth and Ruby (DeMont) Peavey, Robert was born on May 5, 1950, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He married Kathleen “Kathy” Rena Kingry, on June 8, 1984, in Saginaw, Michigan. She preceded him in death on February 22, 2010. Robert contributed to his community through various business ventures. He worked for a wrecker company. Robert then owned and operated numerous companies, including gas stations, an asphalt company, and truck driving company. He lived in Gladwin for thirty-three years. Robert is a retired member of HLMC. Above all, Robert cherished the time spent with his friends and family, especially his great-grandbabies.

Surviving are his daughters and son, Robin (Fred) Dietzel of Saginaw, Robert Jr. (Amy) Peavey of Saginaw, Theresa (Jay) Bates of Gould City, Tina Myers of Gould City; Allan Turner of Gladwin; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Sr. (Theresa) Peavey, Tim Carrick; and the mother of his children, Dorothy (Kinney) Peavey. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Besides his wife and his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, John and David Sr.; sisters, Linda and Deb.

Funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Pastor Rob Ashmall will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit the family from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
