Our loving husband, son and brother passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025. Age 69 years.

Robert was born on April 30, 1956, son of James and the late Vida (Burt) Minard, in Saginaw. He married Debra K. Husen on October 18, 1980. Robert earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technical University. He retired from Delphi after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Taymouth, and served as an Elder and in session. Robert was a 33rd Degree Mason with Masonic Lodge #514, a member of the Elf Khurafeh Shrine, The Consistory of Bay City and the American Society of Metallurgy from 1984-2000. Robert enjoyed golfing and traveling.

Robert is survived by his wife, Debra K. Minard; father, James Minard; his sister, Rhonda Perri; niece, Kristi (Kenny) Wolverton, nephew, Kyle Minard; sister-in-law, Laurie Minard and his lifelong friend, Peter Pasterz. He was predeceased by his brother, Burt Minard.

Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Scott Kroener will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the Masonic Lodge #514 will be present for a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also visit at the chapel on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider First Presbyterian Church of Taymouth or the Children’s Dyslexia Center of Bay City.
