Robert “Bob” Kuch

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Toni & Trish House, with his family at his side; at the age of 79 years.

The son of the late Herbert R. and Alma E. (Huber) Kuch, Bob was born on April 14, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the class of 1961. Bob proudly served in the United States Army until he was Honorably Discharged. He married Carol Ezop on June 28, 1969 at St. Rita Catholic Church, Saginaw, Michigan; she survives him. Bob worked at General Motors, Steering Gear, Plant 2 for 32 years of loyal and dedicated service, retiring on July 1, 1999. After retirement, Bob worked at MBS International Airport and Meijer, Gratiot Road. He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shields; and UAW 699. Bob was a lifelong Detroit Tiger Fan. He enjoyed watching and attending games. Bob was also the softball coach for many years at the church. He enjoyed playing Euchre and going to the casino. Above all, Bob cherished the time spent with his family and friends.  

Surviving besides his wife of 53 years, Carol Kuch; are their three daughters and one son: Pamela (Don) Nowicki, Livonia; Julie Rohde, Jacksonville, Florida; Eric Kuch, Saginaw; Laura (Jon) Brinker, Riverview, Florida; grandchildren: Dustin (Karly) Vance, Nicholas (Mariah) Rohde, Isabel Rohde; a great-grandson: Ivan Vance; two brothers: Howard Kuch, Richard (Donna) Kuch; two sisters-in-law: Carol Kuch, Marilyn Kuch. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two brothers: Donald Kuch, Jerry Kuch; two sisters-in-law: Theresa Kuch and Sharon Kuch.  

Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609. Rev. Joshua Becker will officiate. Military Honors will follow under the auspices of the United States Army and American Legion Post 22.  Friends may visit the family from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September, 26, 2022 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609; and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Tuesday.
