Robert Junior DeShone

Loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on November 30, 2021 at the age of 89 years.
Robert was born on December 22, 1931 in Saginaw, MI to parents Robert DeShone and Laura Chapman. He married Carolyn Ann Rader on July 2, 1955; she survives him. Robert was working as a Machine Operator for the railroad retiring after 47 years of service. Robert was lifetime member of the Saginaw Field and Stream Club and Bridgeport Gun Club, holding offices in each and the Moose Club. He also belonged to the Timber Town Travelers and the Boots Scooters dance club.
Robert is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carolyn Ann DeShone; their children: Robert (Jacqueline) DeShone, Randall (Gerry Fish) DeShone, Richard (Linda) DeShone, Raymond (Kelly Vanconett) DeShone, Ruth DeShone, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, and two sisters and a brother.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at the W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. Fr. Alberto Vargas will officiate with burial at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at the funeral chapel from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
