Dougherty, Robert J. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday August 22, 2013 at the Cartwright Care Center at the age of 79 years. Robert was born February 16, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of the late John P. and Helen T. (Pagel) Dougherty. Robert was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church; he served in the U S Army. He retired from the City of Saginaw Waterworks department March 1, 1994 after many years of service. Surviving are three sisters Loraine Wisniewski, Jean (Richard) Marr and Kathleen (Duane) Klienbreil and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 28, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church 1525 S. Washington Rev. Fr. David Jenuwine will officiate . The burial will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery under the auspices of the V.F.W. post 1859 . Friends may call at the W.L.
