Passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Covenant Cooper following a lengthy illness at the age of 73 years. Bob was born September 23, 1942 in Saginaw to the late June (Arft) and Robert Arndt. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1960. He married Jennifer Hein March 20, 1970 and she survives him. He retired from industrial sales in 2000. Bob was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Surviving besides his wife are his daughter, Sarah LaVigne and his granddaughter, Alexandra, both of Saginaw. He was predeceased by his son Aaron Arndt in 2006. He is also survived by his "adopted" grandsons, Kyle Brown and Nate Howie; a brother and a sister, Arthur (Kathy) Arndt, Traverse City, Sherry (Roy) Zietz, St. Charles; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Rick Bokinskie will officiate.
