Ott, Robert Eugene Saginaw, MI Passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at Covenant Healthcare, age 62 years. Robert was born in West Branch, Michigan December 13, 1952 the son of the late Leonard and Bonnie (Ralph) Ott. He married his high school sweetheart, Sheila Vetterle October 25, 1972. She predeceased him October 11, 2009. He married Holly (Peters) Mahony-Bierlein June 11, 2011 and she survives him. Bob worked for United Parcel Service (UPS) for 28 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially their annual camping trips. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren, who called him "Papa". In addition to his wife, Holly, Bob is survived by three children, Carrie (Sean) Flanagan, Jennifer (Nicholas) Rose and Michael (Michelle) Mahony; five grandchildren, Zachary and Tyler Rose, Emilee-Ann Mahony, Sean Flanagan, Jr. and Amelia Flanagan; four siblings, Larry (Cathie) Ott, Delma (Don) Bryce, Judy Galonska (Joe Keenan) and Joey (Julie) Ott; many valued nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Bobby Ott; a daughter, Tracy Ott and a brother, Danny Ott. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 at First Christian Church West, 5545 McCarty. Rev. Jean O'Brien and Rev. Barbara Pratt will officiate. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Thursday from 2:00 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 9:00 p.m. and on Friday at church from 10:00 a.m. until time of the services.
