Robert David Maxson Pinconning, Michigan Formerly of Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Friday, January 12, 2018, at the Masonic Pathways, Alma, Michigan. Age 92 years. The son of the late John and Mildred (Warden) Maxson was born May 29, 1925 in Pinconning, Michigan. He served with the U. S. Army during WWII. He married Ruth Bauer. She predeceased him. He engaged in farming in the Pinconning area and was employed by Fletcher Oil Company for several years. He enjoyed fishing. Surviving are five children and their spouses, Daniel and Nancy Maxson; Michael and Charlotte Maxson; Roberta Stilwell; Irene and Raymond Hoyt; Janet Reed; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother and two sisters and their spouses, Kenneth and Janet Maxson; Shirley and Bob Smith; Donna Cobb; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Marlene Brown, two brothers and three sisters, Allen Maxson, Violet Idalski, Joann Henderson; John Maxson and Alice Wyatt. In accordance with Mr. Maxsons wishes, a graveside committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018, at the Richland Township Cemetery. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate.
