Beloved father, and grandfather, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023, at his home, with his family at his side; at the age of 70 years.

The son of the late John Lewis and Faye Darlene (DeWitt) Bill, Billy Bob was born on September 8, 1952, in Lima, Ohio. He was a mechanic for many years, usually working out of his own garage. Billy Bob will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, practical jokes, and his sense of humor. He cherished the time spent with his family and loved ones, especially his grandchildren. He adored the love of his life, Ann Marie Potts, they spent 30 wonderful years together. She preceded him in death on May 12, 2009.

Surviving are his sons and daughters: Robert (Nicole) Bill, Jr., Barbara Potts, Jeremy Potts, Michael Potts, Amanda Valliere; grandchildren: Cassianne, Phoenix, Cayla, Robert III, Codi, Kaileigh, Judith, Lucas, Ellie, Kirsten, Brandon, Cameron, Olivia, Michael Jr., Kaitlyn, Jeremiah, Joshua; and his brother: Vince (Lori) Bill. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, immediate family, and friends. Besides his parents, Billy Bob was preceded in death eight brothers and sisters.

Honoring Billy Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family, in c/o Robert Bill, Jr.
