Ricky Allan Jonas, born July 27, 1957, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 12, 2026.
Ricky was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a devoted family man who cherished the time he spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His family was the center of his life, and he will always be remembered for the love and memories he shared with those closest to him.
Ricky proudly served in the National Guard. He also had a deep love for old-time country music and enjoyed playing the guitar. His music, sense of family, Sense of humor and the memories he created with his loved ones will remain a lasting part of his legacy.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Judy Jonas; his children, Candice Jonas, James(Kisha)Jonas, Heather (Edward) Jonas, Brenda (Austin) Meredith; his stepchildren, Jessica Haymaker, William Haymaker, David Garrett, Jeff (Kandi) Gould, James Gould, Billy Gould, Dawn Gould, Ron (Gina) Gould, Chris (Shelly) Gould, and Joe (Vickie) Gould; his siblings, Allan Artz, Adam Artz, Sherry Ann Bush, Ellen Jane Lupo, and Charles Lyle Jonas; and grandchildren, Mario Penaloza, Andres Penaloza, Heaven Penaloza, Eddie Penaloza, Austin Burton, Serenity Jonas, K'Lee Jonas, Dakarus Jonas, Bryson Berlin, Adilyn Kemplin, Edith Kemplin, Eden signor, Luna Signor, Jemma Signor, Wyatt Meredith, Haley Gould, LeeAnn Wise, Delton Gould, Darmax Gould, Andrew-Lee Gawne, Nowa, Joey II, Destiny, Matthew, Dylon, Tyr, Naom, Fransice and great-grand child Ravyn Farr, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by His mom Norita Artz (Snyder), his father Charles Jonas JR, his son Joshua Jonas and his grandchild Candice Jonas who will forever remain in his heart and in the memories of his family.
Ricky will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Though he is no longer with us, his love for his family, his music, and the memories he made throughout his life will live on through the generations.

In honor of Ricky’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced later.
