Bruske, Richard Samuel Caseville and Saginaw, Michigan Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016, at New Hope Valley Independent Living. Age 86 years. He was born September 30, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of the late Florence Jane (McNally) and Fredrick Reinhold Bruske. He had been employed as a lineman for Michigan Bell Telephone Company for 36 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Lutheran Faith. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and playing Euchre. He married Darlene E. Stinson on May 7, 1949; she predeceased him February 3, 2006. Surviving are one son, three daughters and their spouses, Richard Daniel (Linda) Bruske, Donna Jean (Bill) Krenz, Kathryn Fay (Terry) Zimmerman, Patricia Jo (David Marceills) Bruske; 12 grandchildren, Aaron (Brandi) Bruske, Kurt (Jessy) Bruske, Jaime (Brian) Bain, Eric (Angie) Krenz, Jenny Krenz, Heidi Krenz, Christopher (Missy) Zimmerman, Steven (Rochelle) Zimmerman, William Zimmerman, Michael (Leighan) Campeau, Kelli (Brad) Steffen, and Anthony (Kate) Naples; 17 great-grandchildren, Ronin, Veda, Ryleigh, Ashley, Sydney, Teagan, Quinn, Hudson, Jaren, Ethan, Christian, Jonathon, Landen, Erin, Brynn, Kinsley, and Carter and twin great-grandsons to be born this summer; several nieces, nephews and their families; one sister-in-law, Fay Ellen Nelson. He was predeceased by three siblings, Ruth M. (Harry) McIntyre, F. Robert Bruske and John N. "Jack" Bruske. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5250 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Homer Mosley will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 3:00 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and then at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
