Richard Diebel (Dick) Hemlock, Michigan Passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, age 65 years. He was born on January 13, 1951, son of the late William and Marilyn (Schumacher) Diebel, in Caro. Dick married Gwen Neuenfeldt on November 5, 1983, she survives him. He retired from SC Johnson after many years of service. He enjoyed camping, helping others, working in his pole barn and spending time with his family. Besides his loving wife Gwen, he is survived by their children, Robin (Jeremy) Wenzel, Shawn (Stacey) Diebel, Chad (Kris) Diebel and Jason (Shannon) Diebel; grandchildren, Dominic and Vincent Werry, Allyson, Jordyn, Bradyn, Kacey, Kaylee, Olivia and Morgan Diebel, Tiffany, Brittany and Nichole Wenzel and Stephanie (Adam) Payne; great grandchildren, Noah Wenzel and Kaiden Payne; his sisters, Dawn (Dennis) Kundinger and Maryann (Mark) Janke; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Mollie Diebel and mother and father-in-law, Robert and Betty Neuenfeldt. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, 17927 Dice Road, Hemlock. Pastor Paul A. Hauser will officiate. Honoring Dick's wishes cremation will take place following service. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Zion Lutheran Church.
