Passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at his home. Age 83 years.
The son of the late Evah D. (Burgess) and Stephen T. Stone was born September 9, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Judith Ellen Praay, January 11, 1964. His wife of 58 years survives him. He was employed as a CNC Lathe operator for Eaton Corp. retiring, June 1, 2000, with 32 years of service. Richard served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He enjoyed collecting coins, jigsaw puzzles and card games, especially solitaire. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and family.
Surviving besides his wife, Judith, are three children and their spouses, Sharon (Brat 1) and Greg Jackson; Karen (Brat2) Barnes; Jennifer(Bart 3) and Chris Sparks; seven grandchildren, Jory, Joshua, Jacob and Bailey Jackson, Brendan and Dylan Jones, Riley Helmka; a brother and two sisters, Bill Stone, Dorothy Glowacki and Mary Stone; a special niece, Barb Doran; several other nieces, nephews and relatives. He was also predeceased by a brother, Stephen Stone Jr. (Jupe).
