Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Toni & Trish House, with his family at his side; at the age of 79 years. 

 

The son of the late Herbert R. and Alma E. (Huber) Kuch, Dick was born on July 21, 1944, in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the class of 1962. He married Donna Fischer in 1965; she survives him. Dick worked at General Motors, Steering Gear, Plant 3 for more than 30 years of loyal and dedicated service. After retirement, Dick worked with his son-in-law at H & B Equipment. He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shields. Dick was a lifelong Detroit Tiger Fan. He loved spending time outdoors, whether it was fishing, deer hunting with Donna, gardening, camping and long road trips in his RV with Donna. He enjoyed playing Euchre and going on trips to the casino. Above all, Dick cherished the time spent with his family and friends.  

 

Surviving besides his wife of 58 years, Donna Kuch; are their two daughters, Carmen (Everette) Schultz of Epoufette, MI and Debbie (Ralph) Bright of Henderson, NV and one son, Brian (Jodi) Kuch of Freeland; grandchildren, Jessica (Trent) Limban, Samantha (Dieter) Gottschalk, Caleb Kuch, Everette Schultz, and Megan Kuch; great grandchildren, Stevie Limban and Kasper Gottschalk; brother, Howard Kuch; two sisters-in-law, Carol Kuch and Marilyn Kuch. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Besides his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Kuch, Donald Kuch and Jerry Kuch; sisters-in-law, Theresa Kuch and Sharon Kuch.  

 

Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609. Rev. Joshua Becker will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Friends may visit the family from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609; and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Toni & Trish House, 4699 11 Mile Road, Auburn, Michigan 48611; Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609.
