Pledger, Reber W. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015, at the age of 83 years. He was born January 26, 1931, in Chillicothe, Texas, the son of the late Charlie and Ella (Evans) Pledger. He married Earlene Evans November 25, 1970, she predeceased him November 18, 2000. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and received two Purple Heart Medals. Reber displayed his creativity and craftsmanship in leatherworking and woodworking. He enjoyed coin collecting. Surviving are his children and their spouses, Craig (Ruthann) Evans, Tammy (Ron) Pebley and Cindy (Mike) Thompson; his grandchildren, Shawn, Patrick and Emily Evans, Melissa Knabe, Michelle Parker, Karla Scott and Tony Thompson. Funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015, at W. L. Case and Company 5700 Dixie Highway. Pastor Caleb Adams will officiate with burial at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens under the auspices of V.F.W. Post #1859.
