Obituary

Raymond Leonard Woloszyn, age 72, of Atlanta, MI (formerly Saginaw), passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026. Ray was born on April 6, 1954, in Chicago, IL to the late John and Donna (Andreotti) Woloszyn.

Ray graduated from Saginaw High School in 1972 and went on to attend Delta College, where he earned his degree. He built his life in Saginaw, where he married and raised four children who survive him.

Ray spent many years working in sales management while also pursuing his entrepreneurial dreams through business ownership in both Saginaw and Houghton Lake. He was known for his hardworking spirit, determination, and love for the outdoors.

An avid outdoorsman, Ray enjoyed hunting trips out west with friends, fishing, hiking, gardening, and spending time in nature whenever possible. He especially loved sharing those passions with family and friends, whether it was showing off his prize garden or his latest catch. One of Ray’s greatest joys was teaching his children and grandchildren to appreciate and love the outdoors as much as he did.

Ray is survived by his children: Jill (Adrian) Wise, Raymond (Anna) Woloszyn, Brett Woloszyn, and Courtney (Neil) Wahnefried; grandchildren Chase Showalter, Landen Wise, and Leonidas Woloszyn.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Geno and Anna Andreotti; parents, John and Donna Woloszyn; brothers Kenneth Woloszyn and Daniel Laitsch; and nephew Kenneth Woloszyn.

In accordance with Ray’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Friday, May 15, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Rd., Saginaw MI 48609.
