Raymond "Ray" Garabelli

Raymond Garabelli, 88, of Saginaw, MI passed away Friday, June 21, 2024, at his home. 

Ray was born July 23, 1935, in Detroit, MI to the late Bruno and Agnes Garabelli. 

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Lou Garabelli; four children: Mike & Terri Garabelli of Carrollton MI; Linda & Eric Schneider of Spring, TX; Mark & Peggy Garabelli of Traverse City, MI; and Lisa Garabelli Smith & the late Robert Smith of Saginaw, MI; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and two siblings: Dolores & Ray Shingledecker and John & Claudia Garabelli. 

Ray was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church for 59 years. Serving the church in many capacities. 

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Care Team (Hospice) for the love and care they provided to Ray & the family. 

Honoring Ray's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd., Saginaw, MI 48609. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Holy Spirit Parish or to the Family wishes. Arrangements have been entrusted to the W. L.
