Flores, Raymond Saginaw, Michigan Passed away with his loving family by his side on Friday, December 18, 2015, age 74 years. He was born on September 1, 1941, son of the late David Flores and Esperanza (Irena) Martinez in Pine River, Michigan. Raymond married Olivia Torrez on November 22, 1969, she survives him. He retired from General Motors Malleable Iron Plant after 28 years of service. He continued working small jobs including maintenance at Countryside Trinity Church. Raymond enjoyed fishing, sporting events and traveling up north with his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife Olivia are his sons, Steven (Laura) Flores and Carlos (Amanda) Flores; his grandchildren, Kyler, Adriana, Andres (AJ), Kayla, Ana and Saylor Flores; his sisters, Josie Torrez and Connie (Rick) Laskey; his brothers, Gordon Flores, Manuel, Richard, Mike, Frank and Carl Martinez, Steve (Lucinda) Martinez, John (Debi) Martinez, Joe (Jayne) Martinez, Jerry (Mary Kay) Martinez, Bill (Kim) Martinez, Jim (Kathy) Martinez; his nephews and nieces; sisters and brothers-in-law and his very special aunt, Virginia Lopez. He was predeceased by his beloved grandparents, his father, Manuel Martinez, Sr.; his brother, Marty Martinez; his sisters, Helen Cortez and Mary Rocha. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 915 N. 6th. Street. Fr. Frank Voris, O.F.M., Cap., will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the family will be present for a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. www.casefuneralhome.com
