Randy John Lingle

Randy John Lingle of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Ascension St. Mary's Hospice. He was 68 years old. Randy John Lingle was born on October 15, 1955, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Monroe Crafton and Katherine Margaret (Taulbee) Lingle. He was a proud 1973 graduation of Bridgeport High School. Following graduation, he began working at the family business, Lingle Equipment, where he served as the Parts Manager for over 45 years. The role of his lifetime, one he truly treasured and cherished above all others, was to be a loving and dedicated father and grandfather. Randy's little piece of heaven was being out on the water or spending time out on the many boats he owned over the years. While living in Florida, he obtained his commercial captain's license. Randy liked to keep himself busy. When he wasn't outside taking care of his lawn or working on his house, he could be found tinkering on anything, especially his car. He will forever be remembered as a very intelligent man whose photographic memory with numbers and parts is unfathomable, for his quirky and funny one-liners, for always having a cold Coca Cola in hand, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many wonderful memories and stories, especially with his family.

Surviving are two daughters: Tammy (Chris) Walderzak of Saginaw; Candace Lingle of Toronto, Canada; six grandchildren: Dakoda Walderzak of Saginaw; Cody Walderzak of Saginaw; Olivia Lingle of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada; Elisabeth Lingle of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada; Peyton Lingle of Toronto, Canada; Avory Lingle-Boissoneau of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada; four great-grandchildren; father, Monroe Lingle of Sebewaing; a sister, Sue Bailey of Bridgeport; two brothers, Larry (Connie) Lingle of Texas; Ray Lingle and Donna McGrandy of Saginaw; a special nephew and niece: Ray (Andrea) Lingle and their children, Kara and Emily of Essexville; Amanda (Nate) Bremer of Waterford. Also surviving are many additional cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine M. Lingle; stepmother, Jane Lingle; and a sister, Margaret (Bob) Hemenway.
