Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at her home, with her family at her side at the age of 64 years.
The daughter of Beatrice Duffy and Thomas Green, Rae Ann was born on February 15, 1962, Clare, Michigan. She graduated from Farwell High School with the class of 1980. After a short career in real estate with her father, she continued her education at Mid-Michigan Community where she obtained an associate’s degree in nursing in June of 2001. After that it was back to school at American Sentinel University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her bachelor’s in science of nursing in May of 2014. Rae Loved spending time with family and friends and binge watching her favorite TV series while enjoying a cold beer.
Surviving besides her husband, Jim Eitel whom she married on July 25, 2002; are daughter, Laura Ahac (Jason Dole); granddaughters, Taylor Reno (Eric Wezensky), Melanie Schocknesse; great-granddaughter Madeline Wezensky, mother and step-father, Bea and Eldon Bryce Law; father Thomas Green, brothers and sisters, John and Bev Green, Kelly and Steve Helm, Nancy Grisdale, Patty Green, LeeAnne and Kurt Keppner, Kathy Ackerman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Cindy Eitel. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Rae Ann was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Thomas Gerald, Anne Green, maternal grandmother, Lois Petoskey.
Honoring Rae Ann's wishes, a Celebration of Rae Ann’s Life party will take place on May 23, 2026, at 12:00 Noon at the Tobacco Ranch Event Venue, 1601 N. McEwan St., Clare, MI. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society.
