Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Saturday October 28, 2017 at the age of 85. The daughter of the late Paul Day and Olga Rohde was born on December 3, 1931 in Hemlock. She married Bruce E. LaLonde on April 24, 1954; he survives her. Pauline was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hemlock and enjoyed reading, her flower gardens, baking and most especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband of 63 years, Bruce, are their children: Karla (Tony) Wise, Kurt LaLonde, Karen Harvey, grandchildren: Bruce A. (Sabrina) LaLonde, Kassidy LaLonde, Jim (Heather) Beam, Jennifer (Nate) Moeller, Jessica (Michael) White, Jordan (Stephanie) Wise, Juston (Taylor) LaLonde, Chad (Amber) LaLonde, Hannah LaLonde, Mitchell Harvey, Madelyn Harvey, 13 great-grandchildren with two on the way and many relatives and dear friends. She was predeceased by her son, Keith LaLonde. The family of Pauline would like to thank the staff at Chesaning Nursing Care Center for the wonderful care they gave Pauline. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church, 17927 Dice Rd. Rev. Paul A. Hauser will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and on Wednesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
