Passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the age of 63 years.

Paul was born on November 8, 1962, son of Moses and Julia (Godina) Lopez, in Saginaw. He was a graduate of Douglas McArthur High School. He also earned a Nursing Assistant Certificate and Cosmetology License. Paul Enjoyed going to his client’s homes to style their hair and taking care of patients at the nursing home. Paul enjoyed trips to the casino, fishing and vegetable gardening. He loved caring for and checking on his loved ones. His family meant the most to him.

Paul is survived by his husband, Fred Bennett; his brother, David (Deb) Lopez; sister, Cindy (George) West; several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including, his special friend, Sue Johnson.

Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, May 5, 2026, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am until the time of service.
