Patrick James Parcell

Patrick James Parcell, (Jim) passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Jim was born on December 13, 1930 to the late William and Arvella (Green) Parcell in Saginaw. He was a proud Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Jim married Mary Despres on May 29, 1955 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He worked for decades in the transportation industry and retired from the Saginaw Transit System after many dedicated years. Jim loved golf, his good close friends, and above all his family.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Mary R. Parcell and daughters Paula J. Parcell and Kellie A. Saker. He is also survived by his Granddaughter, Cristin M. Lazzaro whom he was so very proud of.

Jim was predeceased by his father William J Parcell, mother Arvella E. Parcell, his three older brothers Bill, Benard, and Don and two older sisters Agnes and Ruth.

Honoring Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place; no services will be held.In Lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Jim’s memory to the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
