Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Traditions of Saginaw, with her family at her side. Age 81 years.
The daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Feuerstein) Adams, Sue was born on May 22, 1945, in Chesaning, Michigan. She graduated as valedictorian of the St. Charles High School Class of 1963. Sue continued her education at Central Michigan University, where she earned her Bachelor of Education. She married the love of her life, Lawrence “Larry” J. Wagner, on July 16, 1966, in St. Charles, Michigan. They shared many wonderful years together; he survives her. Sue was a teacher in the St. Charles School District, retiring after 30 years of dedicated service. She was a member of St. John XXIII Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, and quilting. Above all, “She was a damn good cook and an excellent seamstress.” Sue also loved to travel, especially with her fellow teachers, and after retirement she and Larry cherished time spent traveling together and at the lake. Her motto was, “If the job is worth doing, do it right.”
Surviving besides her husband, Larry Wagner; are their sons, Mark (Eileen) Wagner, John L. Wagner (Karen Fraser); two grandsons, Logan A. Vorich and Andrew Jack Wagner; brother, Bill (Gerry) Adams; and brother-in-law, Jim Nesbit. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Besides her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her son, Greg Wagner; sister, Barb Nesbit.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Americans Home Health & Hospice Care and Traditions of Saginaw, for their kind and compassionate care of Sue.
