Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Klammer, who peacefully left this life on May 4, 2026, in Saginaw, Michigan. Born on December 26, 1945, in Midland, Michigan, to Clifford and Theola (Clover) Wallace, Pat lived a life defined by warmth, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to her family and community.

Pat’s life was a testament to kindness. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen, supported, and cared for. A founding member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, she poured her heart into her faith community and found joy in nurturing her creative spirit. Her garden was her sanctuary—an ever‑growing expression of her love for beauty and the natural world. In her younger years, she delighted in sewing, crafting unique pieces with patience and skill. A lifelong animal lover, Pat had a special affection for cats, who were always met with her gentle care. She cherished time spent outdoors, embracing the simple, restorative pleasures of fresh air and open spaces.

Pat’s memory will be carried forward by her son, Eric (Kelly) Klammer, and her sister, Vella (Bob) Borton; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will hold her memory warmly.

She is reunited in eternal rest with her beloved best friend, Don Klammer; her parents; her sister, Marie (Phil) Reece; and her brothers, Bill (Shirley) Wallace and Dwight Wallace; and her daughter-in-law, Anne Klammer.

A funeral service planned for Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 12:00pm at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2565 N Miller Road, Saginaw, MI 48609. Friends are welcome to visit with the family beginning at 9:00am until the time of the service at 12:00pm. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Pat will be laid to rest at Garfield Township - Swan Creek Township Cemetery.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial donation to Paws with a Cause, https://pawswithacause.org/, in honor of Pat.

Pat leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and quiet strength. Her family will forever remember her as a steady presence, a source of unwavering support, and a light in their lives. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
