It has pleased our almighty God to call into His eternal presence, Patricia Luise Johnson (nee Feick) on October 22, 2025, in the sure and certain hope of the resurrection to eternal life.
Pat was born on December 31, 1942 in Kenosha, WI to Frank and Jeannette Feick. Through the waters of baptism on March 28, 1943, our loving Lord graciously brought Pat into His family and gave her the promise of eternal life in Christ. Later, she publicly confessed that faith in the rite of confirmation on May 19, 1957 at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenosha, where her confirmation verse was Psalm 119:105.
Pat was united in marriage to Gary Johnson on June 14, 1969. Together they were blessed with two sons: Timothy and Christopher. She was thankful for God’s many earthly blessings - family, friends, and her ministry - but trusted above all in Christ’s forgiveness and the life everlasting He won for her.
Throughout her life, Pat lived as one redeemed by Christ. Since 1975, she had been a faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Saginaw, MI, where she regularly heard God’s Word and received the Lord’s Supper for the strengthening of her faith.
She loved to serve her Savior! From age 12 to age 73, she faithfully played organ and piano wherever she resided at the time. She taught the love of music and piano to countless students at Michigan Lutheran Seminary and at East Fork Lutheran School in Arizona. She participated in and directed handbell choirs for many years at St. Paul’s, at East Fork, and at various handbell festivals. She expressed her faith in Christ by making Chrismons to decorate trees with Christian symbols at Christmas time and teaching others to do the same. Many of those ornaments adorn the Christmas trees at her home church in Saginaw, at the East Fork Lutheran Mission in AZ, as well as the trees of her children and grandchildren. She also was very passionate about life. She served at the Pregnancy Care Center in Saginaw operated by Christian Life Resources of Saginaw Valley for many years. She enjoyed serving as the faculty advisor for Teens for Life at Michigan Lutheran Seminary.
Pat is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gary; her children, Timothy and his wife, Suzy of Sturgis, MI, Christopher and his wife, Jamie of Jackson, WI; grandchildren, Kyler and his wife, Millicent of Milwaukee, WI, Brady and his wife, Eva of Las Vegas, NV, Ryan, and Aidan; and her sister, Cynthia Kaluf. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 29, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Christian funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1020 Court Street. Rev. David Naumann will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Pat went home to Jesus in the hope of the resurrection of which Jesus promises all believers, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” John 11:25-26
