Obituary

Pamela Lynn Seavolt (Day), 69, passed away on September 1, 2026. Pam was born on February 19, 1957, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Donald Day and Sally Day (Thomas). She lived a life centered on love, family, and friendship, leaving behind countless cherished memories for those fortunate enough to know her. She was married to her sweetheart, Roger Seavolt, on September 28, 1974.

Family was the heart of Pam's world. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren and took every opportunity to spoil them and the rest of her family. Her love and devotion to those closest to her were evident in everything she did. Whether gathering loved ones around the table for a home-cooked meal or simply enjoying time together, Pam made everyone feel welcome and loved.

Pam was known for her warm sense of humor, kind heart, and loving nature. She enjoyed cooking for friends and family whenever she had the chance and took great pride in bringing people together through good food and good company. In her free time, she enjoyed playing games on her iPad, playing cards with family and friends, and browsing QVC for her latest finds.

Those who knew Pam will remember her for her laughter, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She touched many lives through her kindness and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pam's legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

She will lovingly be remembered by her devoted husband of nearly 52 years, Roger; her parents, Donald and Sally Day; her daughters, Jamie (Mike) Yelsik and Paula Hilden; her grandchildren Shauna, Caleb, Finnegan, and Aurelia; her sister, Julie (Todd) Beyersdorf; her brother-in-law Steve Seman; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members who will hold her memory dear.

She is preceded in passing by her brother, Donald "Donnie" Day Jr, and her sister, Sharon Seman.

A funeral service is set to take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 6:00 pm at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N Miller Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609. Pastor Ruth Estell will officiate. Family will receive guests beginning at 3:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow the service.
