Pamela “Pam” June Leppert of Hemlock, Michigan

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully at her home, with her family by her side, on Sunday, November 12, 2023. She was 65 years old. Pamela June Barst was born on July 8, 1958, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Ralph and June (Otter) Barst. She was proud 1976 graduate of Hemlock High School. She met the love of her life, Jeff Leppert, while in the 7th grade. They eventually dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on June 29, 1990; he survives her. Pam was employed with Hemlock High School as a food service worker, where she was well liked and loved, for 18 years, retiring in 2022. The role of her lifetime, and one she treasured and cherished above all others, was to be a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was of the Lutheran faith and previously attended Zion Lutheran Church in Hemlock. Her little piece of heaven was traveling to her mother’s cabin on Elk Lake. She enjoyed crafts, whether it was drawing or painting, whatever she put her mind to she could make. Pam absolutely loved and adored her family, especially spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as a beautiful person with a kind and sweet soul, for the love and care she gave to those she loved, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many wonderful memories and stories.

Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Jeff Leppert of Hemlock; two daughters and two sons: Nicole (Josh) Hubbell of Bellbrook, OH; Karrie Bedtelyon of Saginaw; Jeffery T. Leppert and his fiancée, Kelly Griffin of Saginaw; Zack Leppert and his girlfriend, Gwendolyn Summons of Saginaw; eight grandchildren: Abagail Hubbell, Brayden Hubbell, Carter Hubbell, Claire Hubbell, Hannah Bedtelyon, Cameron Bedtelyon, Era Bedtelyon III, and Lilly Miller; two great-grandchildren: Darion Payne, Kaylanni Cook; a brother and sister: Steve (Marge) Barst of WV; Susan Worley of Saginaw; mother-in-law, Dorothy Leppert of Saginaw. Also surviving are many nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and June Barst; sister, Dawn Barst; father-in-law, Samuel Ivan Leppert; and a brother-in-law, Sam Leppert.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Covenant VNA Hospice and the Covenant Cancer Care for all the love and care they provided to Pam and the family.
