Pamela Wynne (Russell) David , lovingly known by family and friends as a kind, caring, and giving woman with a wonderful sense of humor, passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 71. Pamela was born on October 4, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Harold and Cynthia Russell.

Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her generosity, compassion, and ability to bring laughter to those around her. She spent many years as a emergency medical technician, caring for those who needed someone with a gentle hand. Those who knew her often described her simply as "pretty awesome," a fitting tribute to the remarkable person she was.

Pamela found joy in life's simple pleasures and in the company of those she loved. She especially cherished time spent traveling to Hale, Michigan, where she and her husband, Sam David, enjoyed relaxing at their camper and making treasured memories together. She had a creative spirit and loved crocheting, often sharing her talents and handmade creations with others.

She enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre and Farkle with Sam and their friends, creating countless moments of laughter, friendly competition, and fellowship. Never one to shy away from trying something new, Pamela recently discovered a love for karaoke, delighting those around her with her enthusiasm and adventurous spirit.

Above all, Pamela's greatest legacy is the love she shared with family and friends. Her warmth, kindness, generosity, and humor will be remembered and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Pamela is survived by her beloved husband, Sam David; her sisters, Roxanne and Sandy (Johnny); her brother, Kim (Louise); her children, Brandon (Kristina) Yocom and Alicia (Leo) Lacroix, and step-children, Sammy and Autumn; her brother-in-law, Mike (Charlene); sister-in-law, Angie; her best friend, Tammy; her beloved grandchildren Kendra Chabica, Lainey Yocom, Jordan Pease, and Seth Yocom, as well as step-grandchildren, Chey Enne and Chay Lynn David; along with many other family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. She preceded in passing by her parents.

Though she may be gone from our sight, her love, laughter, and the joy she brought to others will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

A celebration in honor of Pam will be held at a later August 15, 2026 at 6350 Sheridan Rd. Flushing, MI 48433, at 2:00pm at Char and Mike's home.
