Geeting, Orrin Ronald Sr. Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013, at Covenant Cooper. Age 78 years. Orrin was born January 4, 1935 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of the late Lester and Anna (Marker) Geeting. He married Yoko Hasegawa, October 27, 1975. She survives him. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1953 and attended the U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis Maryland and General Motors Institute. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy. He worked as a Deputy Sheriff/ Process Server for Saginaw County. He was a member of American Legion Post #22. His memory will be cherished by his wife, Yoko, and two children, Orrin (Sandra K.) Geeting; Shino (Christopher) Brown; two grandchildren, Emiko and Lyla Brown. He was predeceased by a brother, Jim Geeting. The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Military honors will be under the auspices of American Legion Post #22. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday.
