Onalee Marie (Cramer) Mueller

Onalee Marie (Cramer) Mueller of Birch Run, Michigan

On this day, the 28th of May 2025, Our Lord and Savior welcomed a Beautiful Angel into her new heavenly home, with her loved ones, Charlene and Guy Morin, at her bedside giving her comfort, love, and peace as the Lord transitioned her from her Earthly body into her new Heavenly body made perfect the way only he can do. Onalee Marie Mueller was born into Earthly life on October 2, 1938, in Kilmanagh, Michigan, to the late, Norman and Alvina (Wachner) Cramer. At the time of her passing she was born into Eternal Life at the age of 86 years. Mom was a 1957 graduate of Owendale High School where she was nominated and held the title of “Torch Queen.” The role of her lifetime, one she treasured and cherished above all others, was to be a loving wife, mother, and friend. Anyone who knew mom, knew she was loving and kind, with a gentleness about her that would make you want to get to know her and her smile would make you want to smile as well. Charlene, her daughter, was endearingly referred to as “Pebbles” and Guy, her bonus son, were the “Three Musketeers.” Where one of us would be, the other two wouldn’t be far behind. We loved spending time together laughing and enjoying each others company. I want to give a special thank you to two dear friends, Mary Lentner and Theresa Juras, for their love of mom and the visits to come see her. Your love and kindness meant the world to mom and to us. Mom loved her fur babies, Schmutt, Georgina, and Peanut. She also loved and adored her furry grandbabies, Bella, Snickers, Shadow, Tigger, and Squirt. Mom got so much joy from being with them, watching all their crazy antics, and giving them snuggles. I know they felt her love for them as well. Aside from spending time with her furry grandbabies, mom had many happy times doing the things she loved. Many days were filled with doing word search puzzles, Wordscapes on the iPad, going to the casino, going out to eat, watching RFD-TV on Saturday nights where she would enjoy listening to the music of her “ boyfriend “ Danielle O Donnell. It wasn’t just his music, she enjoyed, but she also said that he wasn’t hard on her eyes either. Saturday night also included “The Marty Stuart Show”, “Molly B’s Polka Party”, and “Larry’s Country Diner”. Mom also loved watching her favorite game shows, baking and bowling with the ladies of which Mary Lentner was one of, euchre tournaments at church, watching her favorite soap, “Days of Our Lives,” and of course last but not least enjoying a nice bowl of ice cream. She loved the Lord and being apart of her church family for so many years both at St. Christopher’s and Saint Francis de Sales. When she wasn’t able to go to mass, she would always watch the Outreach mass on Sunday mornings.

A heartfelt thank to all the nurses, CNAs, food servers, and friends that we have made along the way at Wellspring, you know who you are and your love and support will forever be remembered in our hearts. Charlene and Guy would also like to extend a sincere and gracious thank you to Rev. Fr. John Mancini O.S.F.S. for all the love and ministry he provided to Onalee throughout her life.

Surviving are her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a sister. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Mueller; and three sisters and three brothers.

A funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 3945 Williamson Rd., Saginaw, MI 48601. Rev. Fr. John Mancini O.S.F.S will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Any expression of love for mom is welcomed and appreciated; whether it be flowers or support of her church St. Francis de Sales, the Outreach Mass, or Pet Angel Adoption & Rescue in Frankenmuth, Michigan, who rescue cats and kittens, helping them find their forever homes. Arrangements have been entrusted to the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., Saginaw, MI 48603. Please share your thoughts and memories with the family at the church or through www.casefuneralhome.com.
