Norita Ann Worrell (Clock)

Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister passed away in her home at Legend of Lancaster on Sunday, December 10^th, 2023, at the age of 86. Norita was born on November 23^rd, 1937, in Dundee, MI, to the late Carl & Mildred (Spaulding) Clock. She was a graduate of Monroe High School where she met her high school sweetheart James “Jim” Worrell, whom she would marry on September 8^th, 1956, and the couple would spend over 63 years together.  She spent her working years in banking, retiring from Family Federal Savings and Loan.  Norita stayed active in her free time. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, traveling with her family, and it was said she kept quite the garden of flowers. She also loved family get-togethers, especially around the holidays. Norita is remembered as being an outgoing, friendly, and sometimes feisty woman who made friends everywhere she went and had a great sense of humor.

Norita is survived by sons Michael Worrell and Matt (Beth) Worrell; granddaughters Sarah (Quincin) Eagle and Emma Worrell; great grandson Kyngstyn Eagle; and sister Sandy (John) Zorn; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Norita was preceded in death by husband Jim Worrell and brother Carl Clock.

A funeral service for Norita will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, December 21^st, 2023, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603, with Rev. Rob Richards presiding. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of service, with burial to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
