Nemer Alrishmawi, age 70, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, in Saginaw.

Nemer was born in Beit Sahour, in Palestine, on February 25, 1954, to the late Saleem and Maqboula Rishmawi. He was a hard worker and worked in construction all of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife Faten Rishmawi. They were married on September 28, 1974. He is also survived by eight children Issa (Jane) Rishmawi and their children: Andrew, Cynthia, Cindy, Anthony; Safa (Ameen) Shaheen and their children: Nasser, Danny, Nara, Rayan; Mousa (Amanda) Rishmawi and their children: Jonathan Nimer, Julia, Lily, Sophia, Nicholas; Rania (Rami) Hanania and their children: Jason, Ryan, Adrian, Julian; Noura (Shadi) Khalil and their children: Tiya, Layan, Andreh, Malak; Vera (Luay) Sababa and their children: Joelle, Yazan, Lucas; Saleem (Maram) Rishmawi and their children: Marielle, Rafael; and Suzi (Issa) Hanounah and their children: Isabella and Jamal; sisters Madeline Rishmawi and Mary Alyateem. He was preceded in death by a sister Nuha Odeh.

 Friends may visit with the family from 11:00AM -1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 4970 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603, where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Fr.
