Loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on March 26, 2020 at the age of 83 years.
The daughter of the late Forest MacGregor, and Stella E. (Amburgey) MacGregor, was born on August 31, 1936 in Springfield, Ohio. She graduated from Springfield High, class of ‘54. Nancy married Gene H. Burchfield on October 22, 1955, he predeceased her on March 13, 2020. She retired from MI Public Schools after 18 years of school bus driving. Nancy was very family oriented and loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed travel, especially her trips to Alaska and Nova Scotia as well as summer RV camping in Mackinaw City, MI. She was a long time member of Ascension Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two children and their spouses; Karla (Ron) Peters of Traverse City, MI, Darrell (Stacey) Burchfield; Burlington, IA, and a son, Perry Burchfield, who predeceased her in 2013; a daughter-in-law, Ellen Burchfield; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

A private funeral service will take place. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to Ascension Lutheran Church of Thomas Township.
