Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend passed away on June 28, 2023 at Saginaw Senior Care at the age of 98 years.

Myron Crandall was born to the late Mary (Brickel) and William Crandall on February 27, 1925. He had four children: Myron J., Mary, William and Mike. Myron was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was married to Theresa Martin on June 2, 1956. Myron served his country in the Army from 1943-1946. He was employed at Eaton Manufacturing and Saginaw Foundry, then at General Motors in Saginaw Transmissions, retiring in 1985 after 27 years of service.

Surviving are three sons and a daughter: Myron (Judith) Crandall, Jr. of Cullman, Alabama; Mary (Stephen Altenburg) Ball of Freeland; William Crandall of Saginaw; Mike Crandall of Saginaw; eight grandchildren: Adam, Benjamin, Stephanie (Matt), Melissa, Jeff (Christina), Joelle, Ashley, and Josh; eight great-grandchildren: Garrett, Bentley, Ryan, Lilly, Brooklynn, Serenity, Ava, and Gauge. Also surviving are many special nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Tammy Crandall and 14 siblings.

A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1525 S. Washington Ave. Rev. Fr. Adam Maher will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Myron will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
