Roberts, Minnie Marie Merrill, Michigan Passed away early Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Saginaw Senior Care. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Lonnie and Nanny (Tye) Lamb, Minnie Marie Lamb was born August 3, 1922 in Valley Tennessee. She married James Junior (Clyde) Roberts, May 24, 1941. He passed away June 18, 2001. She was a longtime member of Merrill Wesleyan Church and enjoyed quilting. She was employed by W. L. Case and Co. in Merrill for many years. Surviving are two sons and their wives, James and Sandy Roberts, Owosso, MI; Lonnie and JoAnne Roberts, Hibbing, MN; six grandchildren, Larry and Lynn Roberts, Tara and Bob Schnurr; Rachel and Jeff Kuha; Jeffrey and Lynn Minnick; Scott and Elynn Minnick; Janet and Ed Harless; ten great grandchildren, Travis, Amanda and Tyler Minnick, Samantha and Savannah Harless, Luke, Lance and Lynelle Roberts; Will and Abby Schnurr; Morgan and Gage Kuha; many nieces and nephews. A daughter, Grace Minnick, two grandchildren, Lori Roberts and Bruce Roberts, a daughter-in-law, Nancy Roberts, and nine brothers and sisters have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at Merrill Wesleyan Church, 3765 N. Chapin Rd. Merrill. Pastor Bradley Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill from 3:00 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and then at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
